Position Summary:
We are seeking a business analyst to help support the successful rollout and implementation of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role will focus on the translation and documentation of business requirements into functional specs used to develop and configure a new central billing and service provision system agency-wide.



        Document existing business processes in order to define current business activities for the development of procedures and models.

        Elicit requirements using interviews, document analyses, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

        Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.

        Analyze requirements, policies, and customer needs against system capabilities and functions to determine gaps.

        Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas. Includes presentations to senior leadership.

        Communicate and present process changes, enhancements and modifications to management, peers, staff and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood. Incorporate best practices approaches.

        Plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business process flows and functional requirements for all business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.

        Collect, evaluate, test, and communicate requirements involved with building and implementation of systems and applications.

        Provide ongoing support including resolution of system issues, root cause analysis of problems, planning and testing of system upgrades and coordination of the development of enhancements with third party vendors.

        Other tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

        A bachelor's degree in business or related field.

        3-5 years' experience in business analysis or a related field.

        Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

        The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

        Advanced technical skills.

        Excellent documentation skills.

        Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

        Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook (Office 365 a plus)

        Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

        Experience with Electronic Health Records; Health Care Industry a plus
