Job Description
We're seeking a LIS Informaticist (Meditech) for a FTE opportunity located in Savannah, GA.
LIS requirements –
- Clinical LIS experience required
- 3-5 years hands on Meditech application support. Preferably in 6.x or higher
- 4 year degree required; Masters Degree preferred. Will consider vocational specific certifications for the right candidate with appropriate experience.
Application Requirements:
- Subject Matter Expert in LIS applications
- Implementation/Planning/Testing/Training experience with LIS
- Knowledge of hospital laboratory test procedures dictionaries
- Knowledge of complex instrumentations and analyzers utilized in clinical laboratory settings
- Keeps abreast of guidelines of applicable regulatory agencies.
- Serves as a resource for Lab and Clinical Service personnel in regard to POC testing.
- Interfaces with Clinical and Laboratory personnel to ensure compliance with JCAHO, CAP, and GDHR regulations in regard to POC testing.
