The CRM Administrator / Developer is responsible for developing and executing system configuration, dashboards, enhancements, integrations to external systems, reporting, and support of our Salesforce CRM system. This role will work cross functionally with sales, marketing, customer service and IT to ensure successful implementation of projects and enhancements to the CRM platform. Basic understanding of key business processes including Forecasting, Warranty, Sales Pipeline and Sales Funnel management.
Successful candidates will combine technical abilities, communication skills and a business aptitude to improve the utilization of the CRM solution for the betterment of the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Provide day-to-day end-user support, as needed
• Establish and perform administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, and storage management
• Work with the business to develop and execute strategic and tactical goals for leveraging Salesforce functionality
• Create dashboards, reports, forms, templates, page layouts, workflows, custom objects, object relationships, and standard/custom fields
• Provide ad-hoc customized reporting and training on those reports
• Develop / support interfaces to external systems
• Work with steering committee and end-users to provide best practices, training, and tips to increase adoption and usage
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and new functionalities
• Research and recommend Salesforce and third-party applications that improve Salesforce engagement and effectiveness
• A minimum of 2 years of Salesforce experience as SalesForce developer
• Proven success designing and implementing solutions on the SalesForce platform
• Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools
• Experience with Apex, Visual Force, SQL, and JavaScript
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Lightning Design System
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools helpful
• Experience with Marketing Automation tools helpful
• Salesforce Developer Certification is preferred
• Experience developing interfaces between disparate systems
• Experience working with sandbox and production environments
• Ability to think from a business & technical perspective
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent technical degree
