Registered Nurse
RN
Overview: Seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Hospice Nurse to provide end of life care, ensuring comfort and quality of life for patients. The role requires teamwork, excellent communication with patients and families, and a dedication to celebrating patients' life journeys.
Hours: 9am - 7:30pm, AND every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients for hospice services.
- Inform patients and families about the organization's care options.
- Coordinate care plans with physicians and liaise with health professionals.
- Market hospice concept through education to professionals and the community.
Qualifications:
- Florida licensed R.N., B.S.N. preferred.
- 1-year medical-surgical experience preferred.
- CHPN Certification desirable.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bilingual and electronic medical record software experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
