Custom Shop Shift Supervisor

Position: Custom Shop Shift Supervisor
Salary Cap: $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience
100% onsite

Summary:
The shift supervisor will oversee all production crews within the custom door shops. They will respond to the needs of these shops as well as offer direction in completing weekly production plans. They will guide safety and quality expectations bringing organization to the shops.

Job Responsibilities:

• Shift supervisor for custom wood, full view and fiberglass shops
• Provide leadership and supervision
• Communicate shift updates, production goals and operational concerns
• Proactively drive quality standards ensuring a productive work environment for all employees
• Work with team members in resolving problems and maintaining clean and efficient workflow.
• Works directly with shop supervisor in supporting daily production, inventory, organization and employees
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime
• Assist with reporting efforts
• Supports shop production efforts to meet goals
• Steps in to work production stations as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• 1-3 years supervisory experience strongly preferred
• 1-3 years experience in manufacturing and assembly strongly preferred
• Exposure to quality control
• Must be able to work outside of regular hours when required to accommodate shop needs
