Job Requirements of Pharmacy Manager (Management):

- Establish pharmacy rates and negotiation strategies
- Provide leadership in the area of specialty pharmacy management

Pharmacy Manager (Management)
The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for fulfilling Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) requirements, upholding the board of pharmacy, state, and federal law, and ensuring all pharmacy personnel comply with all requirements of federal and state pharmacy and drug laws, rules, and regulations. The Pharmacy manager will lead, direct, and manage pharmacy technicians and delivery drivers ensuring the professional development driving overall compliance and business results of the pharmacy across operations, quality, clinical outcomes, and growth.
The Pharmacy Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring/evaluating/implementing prescription drug orders, and dispensing prescription drug and device orders. Educating patients on the proper use or delivery of medication, providing immunizations, completing drug regimen reviews, providing patient counseling, and medication therapy management. Responsible for compounding and labeling of drugs and devices and proper and safe storage of drugs and devices. This role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Pharmacy Management active PharmD licensure to practice in the state of Pennsylvania, proficiency with the utilization of the Patient Management System in the Pharmacy, and 340B experience.
