SQL Report Writer (Contract)

We have an immediate need for skilled SQL Report Writers (at least 3) with strong experience in enterprise-level reporting and a deep understanding of PostgreSQL databases. Role will be responsible for designing and developing complex SQL queries and reports that support business intelligence, operational insights, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data extraction from PostgreSQL databases.
• Design and maintain enterprise reports using tools such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting platforms.
• Support ad hoc reporting needs and troubleshoot data/reporting issues.

Required Skills:

• Advanced SQL proficiency, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (Postgres) in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with data visualization/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is a plus.
• Background in healthcare IT or enterprise systems is highly desirable.'
